3D model and assembly
Solid, Surface, and Sheet-Metal Modeling

SOLID, SURFACE, AND SHEET‑METAL MODELING

Thanks to the tools at our disposal, we are able to work using the main advanced design methodologies: solid 3D modeling with assemblies, surface modeling, and sheet‑metal modeling.

All these approaches benefit not only from parametric/variational technology but also from the ability to import third‑party models in commonly used standard exchange formats.
Once imported, we can interact directly with the models and apply modifications that allow us to create new shapes or update existing ones.

Solid modeling enables the creation of both simple and complex three‑dimensional geometries, supporting high‑quality mechanical design. Surface modeling, on the other hand, is ideal for developing more complex objects using splines or advanced curves, facilitating the creation of innovative designs and special components typically intended for molding or thermoforming rather than traditional machining.

Sheet‑metal modeling, supported by the software tools we use, allows us to collaborate effectively with fabrication shops and clients by creating advanced shapes and assemblies. After completing the 3D model and applying the correct bending parameters, we can generate accurate and production‑ready flat patterns for laser cutting.

The parameters defined within the software follow the material‑stretching principles that occur during bending, based on the specific material used for this type of mechanical design.

Experience in the following sectors:

Automotive: 3D modeling and assembly of equipment for tire lifting, headlight alignment systems, air‑conditioning service units, wheel‑washing machines, and various accessories.

Electronics: LCD displays, public‑information totems, LED lighting systems, and electronic boards.

HVAC: Refrigerated counters, air conditioners, heat pumps, and stoves.

Medical: Industrial washing machines for sanitizing medical components, washing baskets, and hydraulic lines.

Hydraulics and Hydropower: Valves, test benches, turbine impellers (Francis, Kaplan, and Pelton) for model manufacturers, fuel tanks, and compressors.
